I have fun too doing it with them, I really appreciate the ‘parent prompts’ (at the bottom of the page) because I have no teaching skills, I can relax and just enjoy play/learning with them as it gives me all the questions and ideas to participate with my children and have some one on one time with them. The color graphics on each page are bright and engaging. It has just the right amount of material on each page in my opinion. Pages can be torn out and put into protectors so they can be used multiple times. Well, it happens for us A LOT! I purchased this book for my youngest (4) and the moment I opened it was like magic! My little does not read yet but is still able to complete the puzzles with little to no prompting from me. My 10 year old actually sat down (more than once) to crack this book with her sister. That in itself is amazing! Both love the bright pictures and I love the clear and concise lessons. It is just the perfect mix of challenge entertainment. I really like how fun and entertaining the book is. It is easy to understand and uses multiple learning styles which is great for all types of learners! This is how kids in this age group need to be taught. They need to be interested in what they are learning and most kids at 6 just want to be playing! The book presents a variety of logic puzzles that are appropriate for the age group of early elementary school age kids. The book does present the puzzles in a way that kids can do them on their, in some cases parents should probably explain the goal. I have taught the target age group for 16 years and More Logic Puzzles for Clever Kids is going to fit perfectly with what's already being taught! I love the different levels of thought processing, the extensions for kids and parents/educators to go even deeper and the logical progression of concepts! The pictures are bright and descriptive! I love how some activities are independent and others work well with adult support. I highly recommend this book for PreK and Kindergarten teachers and parents of those age groups!
